Eyebrow Microblading is a relatively new, manual method for enhancing and restoring the appearance of eyebrows. It is considered to be semi-permanent, as compared to the traditional implanting pigment in the dermis (skin surface) using a machine tool. It is done using a very small, fine blade to deposit pigments into the epidermis. Because color is being applied closer to the skin surface, the strokes appear crisp and very fine. There is no “spilling” under the skin.

Thanks for bringing to my attention that eyebrow microblading is a semi-permanent treatment. I don’t like how my eyebrows look, and sometimes taking the time to make them look right can be tiresome. Maybe I could try microblading to see if I can get the look I want for a longer period of time.
I have dark, thick eyebrows but from years of over plucking in my youth, I had a lot of bald spots, a scar and my eyebrows were far apart. I would fill-in my brows with pencils and powders for years. I used several different brands to get my brows to looks as natural as possible and to find the right shade, until I met with Chris. Chris matched the color of my natural brow perfectly. I had my brows microbladed over my lunch hour and went back to work. The initial blading on the skin does sting a bit, much like a tattoo, but once the skin was broken, the numbing agent kicked in. Chris did an amazing job on my brows, she is very professional and her attention to detail is on point. When you are busy mother of 4 kids, saving an extra 10 minutes every morning is a big deal. I have to tell you that Chris is the BEST micro blading esthetician in the state. I am as 66 year old retired educator whose hair and eyebrows are that beautiful shade of white that others covet. Yes, I love the fact that God and I finally agree on what color my hair should be. That agreement took almost 50 years as I started dying my hair at the tender age of 16 and never stopped. Through all the colors (blonde, platinum, brown, red, red with black stripes, etc.) I was always able to dye my brows to match or use pencil to make them match. But when your brows turn white and they already match your hair, there is no good way to attain those “strong brows” that make your face come alive. Though I was no longer going to the office every day and I no longer HAD to “put on my face” every time I left the house, I hated the days that I wanted to go makeup free to the gym, the beach (when I was on vacation), the swimming pool in my back yard, or even the grocery store because going makeup free meant no eye brows and a face that disappeared into the hair that so many told me they envied. I just got my brows done yesterday by Chris and she did an amazing job! She really listened to what I wanted and even gave me the opportunity to look at them and let her know if there were any areas I wanted something done to. I have platinum hair. What color do I ask for when microblading. Don’t want brown or black!
I was in my teens in the late 70s/early 80s when thin eyebrows were all the rage. Fast forward to now and I’m living the long-term results…thin eyebrows that are misshapen and fading all the way around. I went to Chris who performed a miracle! My eyebrows are now full, even, balanced and full of vibrant color! Chris was friendly and professional and explained everything in great detail. I went to Chris today to get my eyebrows done. During Covid I lost much of my body hair and all of my eyebrows. After much thought I decided to get my eyebrows done.
